The Humanist Fellowship of San Diego

People are important - what's good for human beings is more important than abstractions. Right and wrong matter - and you know what's right and wrong not by alleged revelation from anything outside human experience but by observing what happens to human beings in real life (life on Earth, not some "afterlife") when particular choices are made and acted upon.

Albert Einstein, a Humanist, says:

"I believe that we have to treat values and moral obligations as a purely human problem - the most important of all human problems."
